This grant will be used to sponsor subscriptions to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program that provides free books to children from birth to 5 years old in the Coolidge community.<\/p>\n

The check presentation took place at the Coolidge Public Library, where representatives from the Friends of the Coolidge Library and the Florence Copper Community Foundation were joined by local families who will benefit from this generous donation.<\/p>\n

Sue Bacon, President of the Friends of the Coolidge Library, expressed her excitement about the impact this grant will have on the community, saying, \u201cWe are so happy to be able to provide subscriptions to the Dolly Parton Imagination Library for young children in Coolidge! Each child between birth and age 5 who is enrolled in the program receives a book in the mail every month. Reading to children in their earliest years can provide a strong foundation for reading success in school.\u201d<\/p>\n

Florence Copper is thrilled to contribute to the success of this vital program, which helps foster a love of reading among young children and sets them on a path to academic achievement. The Foundation remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that create lasting positive change in the communities it serves.<\/p>\n
