Coolidge FFA is known for its comprehensive approach to agriculture education, offering a range of leadership conferences, leadership competitions, and agriculture-based competitions, including Soil Science, Livestock Judging, Mechanics, Public Speaking, Job Interview, and Parliamentary Procedure. Students also gain real-world experience by showing animals at the Pinal County Fair, Arizona State Fair, and events across the country. More than 40 students participate in showing large animals like cattle, pigs, goats, and lambs.<\/p>\n
In addition to these activities, each FFA member is expected to complete a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), which may involve internships, jobs, research projects, or managing livestock. This hands-on approach helps students build valuable skills for their futures, whether in agriculture or other fields.<\/p>\n
